Wagon Rides                                                          Wagon Rides are provided by Buddy & Partner, our big and beautiful blonde Belgians who love to pull a wagon and explore the area.  We offer a flat rate wagon ride & special occasion packages.  Experience what it’s like to ride a horse for the first time or for the first time in a long time. We can also take you or your child for a 20 minute lead around on one of our quiet & lovely riding horses; Lady is our purebred Paint mare and the family favorite, Buck, a quarter horse buckskin gelding.  Prices & Packages available upon request. 

Note: You will be required to acknowledge the risk involved in these particular equine activities and it will be necessary for you to release liability.

Stay & Golf                                                                                 Rossman Lake Golf & Country Club is located just a Tiger Woods swing, south of Rossman Yurts. It’s a scenic and challenging 9 hole course with grass green. We have partnered with this dedicated group to offer golf packages which will allow you to, affordably and conveniently, hit the links while staying at Rossman Yurts. Here’s hoping you play your best game right here at Rossman Lake.

WINTER PACKAGES

Come for a winter getaway! There is so much to do in the winter including ice fishing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and ice skating. The lake truly does provide recreation and fun all year round and the hoar frost turns this area into a winter wonderland.

Stay & Sled                                                                                     Load up your sleds, some good friends, pick up your snopasses and come ride some of the most scenic groomed trails you will ever seen.  A section of the Snowtraxx Trail is easily accessed from Rossman Yurts and we provide a courtesy "Wing Night" to our snowmobilers who stay a min. of 3 nights. We are proud Snofund Partners of Snoman (Snowmobilers of Manitoba) Inc., a non-profit organization representing 51 provincial snowmobiling clubs which maintain and groom over 12,000 KM of Manitoba's scenic snowmobile trails.  For  snopass information & trail maps visit: www.snoman.mb.ca

Stay & Fish                                                                                     Don't think for one minute that our unsurpassed sport fishery goes into hibernation for the winter. The winter time, my friend, provides some of the best fishing and best tasting fish of the year. As soon as the ice is thick enough, many lakes in this area, become dotted with comfortable shacks, conversation, good eats and drinks and the fishing stories continue all winter long. So let's head out on the ice, we'll make sure the Rossman Yurts Ice Fishing Shack is stocked with everything you will need for a memorable ice fishing adventure including bait, rods, snacks and a portable communication device. If the fishing is no good at Rossman, we'll move you to a different lake within minutes.
